Mr KS Teng
Master of Science in Mathematics, Nanyang Technological University
KS Teng is a mathematician and educator with more than 15 years of JC and IB tutoring experience. He is also the author of the “Mastering Mathematics” enrichment books for JC students.
His teaching centres on mathematical reasoning and a methodical approach to problem-solving. He encourages students to explore different ways of approaching a question and understand why a method works.
KS believes that a teacher needs to understand questions from the student’s perspective. He adapts his teaching to students’ learning needs, helping them develop resilience, creative thinking and confidence in solving problems.
